Today in...................



Grammar- We identified and used nouns as objects of prepositions.


Reading- We read and discussed Scholastic News articles.

Math- We  reviewed concepts learned in 1.5-1.8. 

Vocabulary- We applied unit word meanings.


S.S- We created a fact sheet for each of the following civilizations: Maya, Aztecs, and Inca. 

Religion- We created gestures to the song "Jesus is with Us."

Science- We explored and identified the characteristics of the kingdoms of life.


Reminders:
  1.  Please complete the bottom portion of the class parent letter along with $15 in an envelope by 9/25.
  2. Upper School Back to School Night- 9/26 at 7 pm

Religion- We highlighted ways we can serve the Kingdom of God.

Grammar- We formed plurals of nouns ending in o after a vowel, nouns ending in o after a consonant and became accustomed to using a dictionary to check plural forms.

S.S- We created a diorama showing how the early people lived.

Science-We reviewed concepts learned in lesson 1.

Math- We read and wrote decimals using tenths, hundredths, and thousandths.

Vocabulary- We used context clues to complete the sentence in Unit 1.
